An oak is a remarkable tree but one over a thousand years was just so intense. I've visited it a few times. Rumours had it that someone hid in it once, to escape his enemies. I grew up wanting a house in a tree, but I also came from a culture where houses had legs and could run!

Having some organic green tea to start my day. The Oak tree dead is shocking news. My heart is broken. As a resident of Nottingham for over 46 years, ever since my family came here to resettle, that Tree had always been in my soul. It's our emblem, our logo, our love.

News that the Netherlands is building camps for Russian POWs in preparation for a possible war with Russia is now making the rounds in the Russian media. Combined with the news of German threats to attack Russia, the anger in Russia is seemingly reaching the boiling point. This proxy war must be put to an end ASAP before something goes terribly wrong.

When I say, “I want to preserve the beautiful Japan I grew up in for my grandchildren,” I am often labeled as a far-right extremist or nationalist and attacked for it. Has anyone else experienced something similar? If so, why do you think this happens? Is wanting to protect your own country really considered a bad thing? I am not talking about hating other people or other countries. I am simply talking about wanting to preserve the culture, traditions, safety, and values that shaped my homeland. @plibt1 Nothing to be sorry about. He's flying China Air, or Air China. I don't think they would want to drag China in, and she's already in. It was his trip outward bound to Turkmenistan on the way. He plane got off the ground in Ashgabat and the Americans started bombing Sandar Abbas.
