People treat you terribly and then wonder why you stop coming around.

Sometimes your goodness reminds people of how messed up they are, so they paint you as the bad guy to avoid taking accountability for how they treated you.

Stop being so considerate in situations where you are not even considered. Kindness is a gift, not an obligation. You will be drained if you continue pouring into those people who never reciprocate. Place your warmth toward those who reflect it back to you.

Not everyone deserves to emotionally and mentally benefit from someone’s energy. Protect your energy.

Kind people with good hearts who love hard get treated so unfair in this life.

There's some family AND friends who have done me so dirty. Used me, abused me, plotted against me, and I wish them no harm in return. I just pray that God shows them the way...but I know now that I never want them in my life ever AGAIN.

You're not wrong for not wanting certain people around you. People think time erases all the toxic shit they did to you. They think space welcomes them back into your life. Make sure you remind them...it doesn't.
