Happy 2026 to everyone! May God grant us clean air, clean water and toxic free food in the year ahead. The government has unfortunately failed so we all should pray🙏

Next board meeting of an Indian IT company: How should we react to increased fee for H-1 visas. Director 1: We should encourage clients to do more off shoring and may be give them more attractive prices to make the move. We can sacrifice some margins and hire more US green card holders/citizens in the meantime. Director 2: We should invest more in AI tools to increase the productivity of our traditional services and also to invest in AI's own basic development so we have a seat at the table when AI's dominance grows with time. Smartest Director in the room: We can announce a buy back of shares.

Why I respect PM Modi so much: 1. Rose from humble beginnings to the highest office 2. Works tirelessly, often 18+ hours a day 3. Gave India a global voice 4. Made self-reliance (Atmanirbhar Bharat) a movement 5. Instilled confidence in a billion Indians that our time has come 6. Even critics admit that his policies may be debated, but not his passion or resolve.

Nestle should do something for restoring the mountains in India. They owe a debt both due to the amount of plastic spread on the hills and the fact that almost all hills are dotted with maggi points

So mid-sized cars only get marginally cheaper. Most mid-sized cars, in the fast growing 4.2-4.5 meter segment including the Victoris launched today had 28% GST plus 15% Cess adding to 43%. Now falt 40% GST and 0 Cess. Luxury cars and SUVs move up from 28% to 40% but lose the Cess, so prices do come down marginally. Still reading the fine-print, but on the face of it, the company most impacted by rate changes is Royal Enfield.

Big, big day for us at Ather. Grateful for every twist and turn that got us here. Over the last 11 years, each milestone felt like the most critical moment ever because it truly was at the time. But today, we pause and realise: the road ahead is even bigger. An IPO isn’t just a celebration. It is a test. Of your business, your team, your vision. It demands proof of what’s already built and belief in what’s coming next. We’re ready for that. What started as an engineering project is now a pan-India brand. We’ve built the engine: a product engine, a service engine, a manufacturing engine, and a supply chain that delivers consistently. Now it’s time to feed that engine and scale. As we become a public company, to the lakhs of shareholders who’ve bought into this vision, thank you. We promise a fulfilling journey ahead, and one that we hope is value accretive for all. Finally, I want to thank our amazing teams, their families, our partners and all our shareholders over the years in helping us get here. Exciting Times Ahead! #WheeeRangTheBell

Here’s for the crazy ones! Back in 2013 starting Ather was one of the most audacious decisions to take for us. It was based on a single belief that we can do fundamental engineering and product development in India. It was a common understanding back then that while India is good for low cost manufacturing or for Value Engineering, one doesn’t do ground up product development in India; we should do JVs or buy technology from somewhere and just manufacture in India. The engineer in us couldn’t just accept that. During our journey, at every step we needed many of such crazy folks with similar beliefs. Our professors who gave us space in their labs and enabled us with their personal money;those early employees who joined us with the same passion to build the dream, when we had very little to offer than a dream; those early investors who thought beyond short term gains; the early supplier partners and retail partners who joined the bandwagon because of their belief in Indian engineers. And the most important our early customers. All those crazy ones were enabling us at every step to build Ather. With the first generation of Ather 450 all those beliefs came to life, a vehicle which was “designed” grounds up in India. And It wasn’t just any vehicle, it was also attempting to do many things for the first time in the segment. A true demonstration of what Indian engineers can achieve. It wasn’t perfect in any way but for many it was symbolic. From then we had to learn scaling production, improving cost, scaling up sales and servicing and many things to move from a startup to being an automotive OEM. The journey has been full of rollercoasters, but looking back every minute was fun. Because we were building for the long term, something which will live for 100 years, so these intermediary disruptions didn’t matter. Today is a big day for all those crazy ones- it is a significant milestone for all of them. It is also a validation of the belief that hardware startups can scale, young engineers can build tech in India. I believe these efforts of all those crazy ones will start a vicious cycle, more engineers will start believing in designing and building in India. All of our supporters wanted to see great products being designed in India more than anything, today is a day for those crazy ones. #AtherEnergy #WheeeRangTheBell #ListingDay
