Toronto is stupid for anything like this. Our transit system sucks, traffic is already awful..besides our businesses needing the money - terrible place to host. They crumbled over a few Taylor swift concerts lmao don’t even get me started about the fiasco last summer during the jays run.

@JessfromTO @AustonStachews Newcastles stadium , st James park isn’t the biggest in England but is literally in the city centre , 10 mins walk from trains , loads of hotels , bars etc etc so we get loads of international events

Location of stadium , city , hotel infrastructure , what’s there for fans etc Nice to have a 90000 stadium but if it’s 10 miles out of a city with nothing around it for fans and is hard to get to it’s not great for a big tournament
