Using a round-robin design, this study replicated the “self-recapitulation effect” (where neural representations of the self are similar to those in close others’ brains) and revealed how self-esteem modulates this effect. nature.com/articles/s4427…

Philip Zimbardo passed away this week at 91. The silence surrounding this news for a scholar of his prominence is unusual, but won't surprise many who question the authenticity his work. To me, it is an ending to a tragic tale of the pursuit of a meaningful intellectual legacy.

It's not his fault he was born a Buckeye. 🟢🟡🦆
