@coysharrrykane Cunha, Foden, Ekitike and Szobo could be a way with other changes to perhaps get both. Or if just Bruno two of them, I think. Ideally keep Saka, although I’d love both Gabriel and Timber at the back.

@robmayesfpl I assume you'd be getting rid of cunha, are you also looking to get off of saka for one of them?

@coysharrrykane Yeah, Bruno certainly but ideally both by GW24. Will need some transfers as it would be a bit of an overhaul, the main reason to try to roll now.

@robmayesfpl any plans to get palmer or bruno fernandes soon?

@IanHart2093685 Yeah, he’s been very frustrating. Thiago does seem like a very valid move. I think I might take a painful week and try to roll though. Ekitike certainly on the way out in the medium term, but wondering if I tank the forward slot (DCL, Igor Jesus) to get big midfielder funds.

Wrong side of a swingy week but not to worry. Time to start banking transfers with Palmer and Bruno on the horizon.

@FFRivo_ I’d personally avoid the -4 this week as your team is looking pretty strong as a first XI. For a move, I think I’d be probably be considering Minteh to Enzo most, ahead of their great run of fixtures.

Gameweek 20 - Gabriel and Elf in the week after Xmas 🎄

@IanHart2093685 Yeah think that’s a good move, I’m certainly thinking that this week. Arsenal’s odds for clean sheets will be higher in the medium term and Gabriel is a great asset IMO.

@robmayesfpl Tempted to move VVD to Gabriel for 2 Arsenal defenders. But concerned that Arsenal have had only 2 clean sheets in last 9, so is it justified? Interested in your thoughts

Gameweek 18 - Cunha and Ekitike in (2/4 FT). Not sure on Ekitike long term but not going to overthink it 🎄

Opened my Christmas present a bit early. 4-year rank 1 🚀 5-year rank not too bad as that was my first active season.

@IanHart2093685 Thanks Ian, hope you did well. Rogers is certainly playing really well, just not sure on those short term fixtures for Villa. My number one choice would be Cunha but Rogers is an option. With the money I’d generally go for Ekitike upgrade or Arsenal defence, I think.

@IanHart2093685 Agreed. I don’t there’s likely better on TC, maybe Bruno in 19 is worth a look but I’m going Haaland TC this week, and think that will be a common play.

@robmayesfpl Not keen on these double chips with deadline. Makes people use chips when they don't really want to. On which point, those of us still with a TC to use, is there likely to be a better chance before GW20 than Haaland this week?

@robmayesfpl @Tidal_FPL Certainly wasn't trying to suggest there is no logic to having Andersen; clearly there is. I was merely mentioning that there are viable alternatives. For example I've had Mukiele from the start and he's had 4CS, 1goal, 2Ass plus regular DC, but is still only 4.2m

Gameweek 16 - Free Hit. Leak of Palmer starting could maybe push him in there but otherwise set #FPL

@IanHart2093685 @Tidal_FPL He was a free hit lock for me due to clean sheet odds, price and those def cons. I do still think he’s a good value pick in normal weeks at a price you can rotate. Think that’s probably the thing - not having to play him every week but only when Fulham have a strong fixture.

@robmayesfpl @Tidal_FPL Out of interest Rob, why do you consider Andersen a lock? He gets lots of def con points, but little else.

@Tidal_FPL This does look strong, I’ve definitely had a draft like this, often have had Mbuemo over Foden - is a risk against his ownership of course.
