You have to question the timing of the arrest by the AFP of Ben Roberts-Smith. Given that extremists like this are given a visa into the country, and there are violent jihadists walking the streets.
Without commenting on the allegations against Roberts-Smith. it does seem like an entirely odd law-enforcement priority right now.
