Oh it's actually pretty straightforward: AI generates the videos Use tools like ChatGPT for scripts, AI voice generators, and video editing AI to pump out content at scale. One person can create hundreds of videos per day. 150 TikTok accounts Each account posts regularly. That's the phone farm you see in the pic - each device runs a different account to avoid detection. Interns handle the grunt work - They upload the AI videos, respond to comments, engage with trends. Basically just copy-paste and schedule across all accounts. TikTok's algorithm rewards volume - Even if only 10-20% of videos go viral, across 150 accounts that's still millions of views monthly. Monetization - TikTok Creator Fund, brand deals, affiliate links, or driving traffic to other platforms. Even at low rates, millions of views = serious money. So basically: AI does the creation (cheap/free), interns do the distribution (cheap labor), scale does the rest. $37k/month is probably conservative if they're actually getting decent engagement across that many accounts. The whole setup probably costs like $5k-8k/month to run (interns + tools + phones), so they're netting $30k+ profit. It's a content arbitrage play.

This AI influencer account consistently pulls millions of views. I've spotted several others doing the same, 100% AI generated content. Now imagine one promoting a finance app. With those view numbers and conversion potential, you're looking at 6-figure MRR. Why hasn't anyone built this yet? 🤔

Every fintech doesn't have to revolve or be about Finance 🤧 We desperately need an app that can connect Landlords to Tenants directly 🙂

@toriluoo Totally agree. Alot of times we're so hooked on virality that we forget that if not done right, it's a good as nothing.

hot take: this format is a trap for most apps. i went and checked the comments. almost nobody is asking about the product lol. everyone's just answering the prompt. millions of views, barely any "what app is this?" this format makes the audience the main character, not your app. virality ≠ growth.
Simone Canc@simonecanciello

i keep seeing this hook everywhere. your app will 100% go viral with "baddie to baddie", long hook and 5s video. it's crazy because you can even use ai influencers.

@TheJobfather__ Ghosting after any round of interview is terrible especially after the interviewee spent so much time preparing. It's the most demeaning thing in the corporate world. A simple "we've decided to move on with someone else" isn't too much to ask.

Views without conversion usually means one of two things. Either the creators had the wrong audience, or the call to action was unclear. If your app solves a specific problem for a specific person, the influencer needs that exact audience. Not just "big following" or "good engagement." Their followers need to actually have the problem you solve. A fitness influencer with 100k followers won't convert for a productivity app. Even if they mention it. Even if people watch. Wrong audience. The other issue is how they pitched it. Did they show the outcome or just talk about features? Did they make it clear what to do next or just say "check it out"? Most influencer posts fail because they treat it like a shoutout instead of a demonstration. Show the problem, show your app solving it in 10 seconds, tell them exactly where to download. That's what converts. For the next round, pick influencers whose audience already complains about your specific problem. Then give them a script that shows the solution, not just mentions the app. Views are easy. Qualified views that convert are the actual work.

MY INFLUENCERS GOT OVER 300K+ VIEWS IN TOTAL PROMOTING MY APP and I got little to NO conversion… I believe it’s because I hired the wrong type of creators Can’t lie, this is confusing me

One thing about going viral is that it doesn't matter if you can't convert. I've seen posts hit 2M views. Got 200 app installs. That's 0.01% conversion. Meanwhile, a 5,000 view post with the right CTA got 150 installs. 3% conversion. Virality is great for ego. Conversion is great for revenue. Optimize for conversion, not views.

I am in the ultimate founder mode. We have one partnership person, one growth person, and one GTM person - but this isn’t three people. It’s one person, and that person has been me for a while while building Pond, figuring out the product, and operating the company on a daily basis. I am in the ultimate founder mode.

Imagine if we could communicate through thoughts instead of words. Between what the mind thinks and what the mouth says, so much gets lost in that gap.
