According to @MyTimeToShineH, the next Mario movie might be called "The Super Mario Odyssey Movie," adapting the Switch game. Jack Black (voice of Bowser) apparently said accidentally that the movie could be released in 2029.

Some say the 3rd movie could be odyssey but wouldn’t it have to be a completely different plot? Cause they’ve already gone through most of the game’s core plot elements and locations with really the only one missing being Cappy.

@KeionJ05 And the Peach movie will include Daisy as it sets up the princesses’ arc. And if the third installment being Odyssey could mean Pauline’s retirement as Mayor and potential succession into royalty as that was also the original idea in the game.
