I don't think anyone is claiming that white people do not commit crime. It has long been recognized that mass shootings in the United States have disproportionately involved white perpetrators. The topic of Black-on-Black crime usually comes up when the conversation shifts to accountability. Some people focus almost entirely on outside causes while giving little attention to problems that exist within their own communities. Every community has issues that deserve to be acknowledged and addressed. Blaming everyone else while refusing to recognize problems closer to home does not move the conversation forward. Let's keep it real. Accountability should apply to everyone, regardless of race.
