It was not in my plan. But when she expressed she want to donate here for annadhanam, we took off today 7 am. Tanjore has FTaxi now. Very comfortable quick service. Mostly new cars. Great local drivers. Lovely new bypass road to Kunmbakonam. (1/n)

Kachiperumal Shiva temple in dire need of attention. Built by Udayarpalayam Zamindars few hundred years ago, there is a stone inscription about Thiruppani done by Sri Katchi Nalla Nayinaka Kalatkal Thozhar Udayar probably in 18th cen CE. Our land is akin to a bouquet of flowers. We have so many #acharyas who have adorned this land. Bhagavad #Ramanuja commonly referred to as SriBhashyakara is a towering personality. His contribution to the philosophy of Visishtadvaita & to the theology of SriVaishnavism is unparalleled. His contributions were furthered by Swami Sri #VedantaDesika. His works are a part of our curriculum. I offer my obeisances to the #acharyas who taught me #SriBhashyam & #GitaBhashyam, his tallest works. May Swami’s commands reverberate through all divya desams 🙏🏽 Similarly, an #acharya who lived a short life but created the biggest impact was Adi #Shankara. His works instill bhakti in us. I have had the fortune to talk about his Matru Panchaka, Kanakadhara Stotra, Shatpadi Stotra, Bhaja Govinda multiple times. May his words inspire all Bharatiyas 🙏🏽
