@sol_solely I almost cried fighting this thing. The music, the battle descriptions, the lines from Susie all feel so desperate. It’s not a boss fight, it’s a horror game encounter. That’s how it feels to me anyway

@wandydoodles I like the idea that since large RPGs used to be stored in multiple discs, and given "Insert ch7 side b" that maybe each chapter is a disc with the world stored on it
And if it's a disc, it would need to spin to be read in the DEVICE, hence world revolving. Both are good tho!

I think all the allusions to Jevil in ch5 make sense knowing this chapter introduces darkness as the "game" in the narrative. Not that it wasn't alluded to before, but here it becomes direct (Flowery's fake stats, Ralsei's explanation, the Knight being forced in a fight etc)

@Nebulatho @dario_ruiz23723 @transapoIIo "Y o u f o u n d T h e I c e K e y" after rooting around out of bounds and the weird jingle after that genuinely made me feel cold in my stomach. It reminded me of getting lost out of bounds using an action replay in pokemon diamond. Probably the exact vibe he was going for :c

i really hope we get something as spooky as the true lab in deltarune. the way snowdrake's mom is presented in battle, where her attacks dont even make it to the battle box, is sooo effective and i would love something in deltarune that leaves you as unsettled and upset

@kaprettino Like, it bothers me so much because like it could just be to make the scene more dramatic but it's getting harder to assume things are coincidences. The entire game is so full of Chekhov's guns that it might as well be Chekhov's munitions supply
