@RonFilipkowski Stephen King is literally the most read author currently alive. This is like some HGH-altered town crier shouting “more like ‘Mediocre Expectations’” at Charles Dickens and waiting for high fives from all the passing chimney sweeps.

Today was my late husband's birthday. All the grief books and advice say that you reach "acceptance" as part of the process. I still find it hard to accept. How could this wonderful man, the bedrock of my life, just one day be gone? He had so much living left to do.

@Dash76Dash Thank you for your message. It is a conundrum and unsolvable. I'm feel so lucky to have had such a love and at the same time so unlucky to have lost it. The universe is beautiful, and chaotic. And you are right, life is for the living.

@sometimes_there Keep yourself engaged, happy and healthy. Honour his memories. Life is no TV where we can change channels. But the above will ensure that we who are here keep the memories and look ahead for the future. Life is one conundrum that man has yet to solve. Live life to the fullest.

@sometimes_there @DanRichardJr @janefourmillion @PupRsq I did that when my dad died. I was still working and it was hard to get through the day. I’d “schedule” grieving time. It was really effective. Since my husband died in 2019, I’ve talked to him every night when I go to bed.
