According to the lore of the Fishermen’s Village, a project I unfortunately stopped working on, the inhabitants were meant to worship separate aspects of a single deity. A cult later formed around this deity, similar in nature to the Pythagorean sect. The people of the Fishermen’s Village interpret this god in their own way, while local minor fishing gods also influence the formation of a new syncretic cult.
