@alessio_joseph I feel like @stephcd and @BraulioAmado and anyone who worked on design at Bloomberg Business early ‘10s invented this wave from an actual place of sincerity. They cooked, severely. A lot of current ‘design’ and ‘creative direction’ feels like stuck culture compared to that era.

it's interesting how aughts/'10s era design bravado and self-importance has completely reversed into irony and self deprecation; feels like we're due for a switch again into a design industry full of painful sincerity
