@stratton_ryan @hastingsufc @horshamymfc Errrrm I got the 11:20pm train after chewing @BillyWood__ Jon Meeneys ear off, eventually got in at midnight. Safe to say sofa bound.

Great to see the @hastingsufc & @horshamymfc U23s final last night, congrats to the young Hastings lads on the win some proper players on show for both clubs, future looks bright.
Good to see a packed Culver Road too

@Rootz_TV @AFCWhyteleafe Comments like this are completely unacceptable. It’s shocking that racism like this still exists in football today.
Full support to AFC Whyteleafe — hopefully those responsible are dealt with appropriately.

‘WHY’S ALL YOUR LOT ALL F*CKIN’ BLACK!’ 🤯
Non league side AFC Whyteleafe were the subject of racial abuse for the fourth time this season after their 4-1 win over Sittingbourne.
FIND HIM AND BAN HIM! 😡

YM are delighted to announce that long term target Zion McLeod is officially a YM player The electric goal machine joins us from East Preston with a reputation for being one of the most clinical strikers around with a devastating record Welcome to YM @ZionMcLeod11 🤍🖤❤️

Noel Fisher’s magical solo run for YM’s winner tonight against @Midhurst_FC
Gideon Acheampong with the assist 🤫

@NonLeague_SSX @horshamymfc I understand your point, and we trust the authorities will deal with the matter properly.
You’re entitled to your view on how we’ve handled things, even if we don’t see it the same way.
Wishing you all the best
English

@stratton_ryan @horshamymfc It’s been addressed and it’s now with the police. A club acting with dignity and class would now leave it with the relevant authorities, but similar to your actions with other issues throughout the season, you’re showing yourselves up.
English

It’s about awareness.
We are bringing this to the attention of as many as possible.
Non League Football - Sussex@NonLeague_SSX
@KieranMahon1 @horshamymfc Racism isn’t ok under any circumstances but YM are lapping up the attention it’s generated, it’s quite sad to see to be honest.
English

@horshamymfc If raising awareness makes people uncomfortable, that says more about how rarely these issues are confronted properly than it does about those highlighting them.
Conversations like this are necessary. If it gets people talking again about stamping racism out of the game.
English

@town_horse @Gilesy_08 @eastbourneuafc The referee’s ethnicity has nothing to do with whether an incident occurred. He was in the middle of the pitch, focused on officiating. Crowd abuse doesn’t always get heard by officials.
The focus should be on the player involved and ensuring the matter is properly investigated
English

What a fucked up stance on this situation involving @eastbourneuafc . Are you saying only black people can hear racism and if another black person didn’t hear it then it didn’t happen?
Whoever was far away might not have heard it, regardless of skin colour.
Fucking weirdo
Laurence@LaurenceB20
@town_horse The referee was black and said himself he heard nothing and if he had would 100% support the player involved
English

@BillyWood__ @nic_taylor91 @horshamymfc I agree in parts with what you say Billy but the focus in my eyes is always with the victim and not protecting the perpetrators reputation.
English

Racism shouldn’t be tolerated, or brushed under the carpet
To hear @horshamymfc ‘s captain was yesterday racially abused shows we still have so far to go
I don’t want to add to speculation, I’ve been downloaded on the situation and I’m very disappointed
The individual doesn’t need destroying, they need educating, they need awareness, we need to stamp it out, and stamp out culture and environments that tolerate it.
We will talk about it tonight on @ibb10show
English

@town_horse @horshamymfc I mean at worst, it can also be seen as minimising behaviour that should be unequivocally condemned.
The game cannot claim to stand against racism while tolerating responses that fall so far short of that standard.
English

@town_horse @horshamymfc I didn’t see there first statement!
The original statement was wholly inadequate given the gravity of what happened.
When clubs respond weakly or ambiguously to claims of racism, it sends a damaging message. At best, it suggests a lack of understanding of the issue.

Comment off? Presumably so nobody can question why your first statement was deleted which mentioned nothing about punishment to the player who racially abused Gideon Acheampong?
It’s been brought to our attention you know who it was and they were suspended today.

Today unfortunately hasn’t shocked me, it occurs far to often with such little punishment, My skipper a respectful honest genuine human, he or anyone else should not have to be subject to this utterly disgusting abuse, to sit with Gids the officials and the police after makes you realise the effect it had on him it’s horrible and I totally back him for confronting the individual. When will it change when will it stop ? Gids receiving a red card for leaving the field of play didn’t raise a finger but questioned the individual on his words, something needs to change. THE AGENDA strikes again. You know who you are and so will everyone else sooner or later. 🐀 I STAND WITH YOU SKIP 🤍🖤❤️ @horshamymfc @kickitout
