The “outsider” image we fell for was a calculated illusion meant to make us believe he was the hero we needed to step in and fight the Deep State. The billionaire who couldn't be bought and who was giving up his life of luxury to fight for us out of the goodness of his heart and his love of America, only to gain our trust and turn us over to the very evils we were trying to escape.
