you asked did you receive?

i fight sleep in case a poem comes to me, in case you call me

are you aware? i am every where

i am intimate with the dead i sank into the earth and let it encase me

i don't know what i'm supposed to do haunted by the ghost of you oh, take me back to the night we met

no one knows this darkness, it’s not the poetic and pretty kind but the other the one that scratches jagged and loud marching through bone

she inventories wounds; catalogues them in ruin and stores them in glass libraries within her heart

a strange boundary built, violating its true ownership— how see-through, how intoxicating. you must feel so free hiding in your shame. having a kneel at your altar, endurance of your corruption.

she lets you taste her like something sacred just enough to keep you kneeling, guessing but each door in her is bolted from the inside she learned early closeness is a slow violence so she gives in fragments, never the whole and disappears before you learn the shape of her wounds

death is a familiar friend of mine. i have learned to love it's grip on my throat as my vision blurs ; only to wake once again, waiting for it's next embrace.

You’re in my soul In my veins A part of me, always

We kiss and sway, making the stars dance with us and wish to be with us here on Earth.

what do you tell yourself?

I burst and splatter all over you, making you feel what I feel. Little droplets of my consciousness, seeping into your body. Making you drenched and dissolved into a sweet goo of my thoughts and twitching sensations.

perhaps you never intended  to paint with me or you did not have the need to express colours like me  but you gave me a canvas  so warm and safe  that I spilled my rainbow  all onto your frame  what else could I need but for my art to have a place  to be tenderly embraced
