21億ドル（約3200億円）の巨額資金を調達しました。
AlphaFoldでタンパク質の形を予測したAIが、
今度は「実際に効く薬」を設計する段階に入ります。
これまで10年以上かかっていた新薬開発を、
AIが劇的に短くしようとしています。
計算機上で何万通りも試して、
本当に有望な候補だけを実験で確認する方式です。
AlphaFoldはすでに生物学を変えました。
その次のステージが、これです。
希少疾患も難病も、
将来「治療薬がない」と言われなくなるかもしれない。
