Day 23 of our Advent Calendar: Use Case (Decentralized Messaging with Push Protocol) @pushprotocol is transforming communication by enabling blockchain-based decentralized notifications and messaging. Unlike traditional systems, it ensures messages are encrypted, tamper-proof, and user-controlled. This is particularly useful for DeFi and NFT platforms, where secure notifications are essential. Decentralized communication represents the next frontier in telecom. Projects like Push Protocol are paving the way. We partnered with Push Protocol to help expand their builders' ecosystem. We received a grant from them to organize a workshop and create educational materials that help developers learn how to build on Push technology. Over 100 developers attended the workshop  and learnt how to build communication dApps on Push. Participants also received a detailed step-by-step guide to help them build these projects. As at 2023, the market size was $2.74 trillion and it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.4% from 2023 to 2030 and this is driven by the increased demand for 5G, IoT, and digital services. As 5G, and IoT adoption grow, blockchain offers scalable, secure, solutions to manage vast amounts of data and enable vast amounts of data and enable device - to - device transactions. Blockchain also offers solutions for fraud prevention, secure data transfer, and decentralized communication. One key area is roaming fraud, which costs telcos over $38 billion annually. Projects like Helium are creating new business models for decentralized wireless infrastructure, reducing costs, and democratizing network ownership.
