There was no chance I was going to agree to take him to ride his bike after work today. He kepy asking, used charm, pestered, asked what my objections were, asked 7 more times, and smiled a lot. You know, a textbook sales process. And so here we are.

@realEstateTrent Wait two years, have a third, and relive the moment. That’s what we did. I’m 46 and our third is just 9 months old.

At exactly 6:20am tomorrow morning I’ll be sound asleep. At 6:22am our 1 year old daughter will be standing up in her crib smiling and saying “book” “book” “book” at the top of her lungs. I’ll look over, exhausted, go pick her up, carry her into the living room (half asleep), sit her down on the couch, and start reading Brown Bear. When we get to the gold fish, she will start making fish sounds. It will be 6:27am, and the best part of my day.

What if health insurance companies offered personal life insurance policies as a requirement with their medical policies? They could bake the life premiums into their health premiums. Would something like this incentivize them to approve medical services for patient care?

@realEstateTrent People that have kids don’t care about babies on flights. It’s like white noise.

10 hour flight, just got seated. The look on the guy’s face that just realized there’s a baby sitting behind him is difficult to describe. All I can say is sorry. And it’ll be worse for us, trust me.

We have an @tmGrandWagoneer. Have to sell it at $48k miles. Very disappointing. But Jeep denied a warranty when the leather clearly has a defect and there’s all kinds of shit that constantly breaks on it. On top of that our dealer sucks at service. Don’t buy one of these.

There were multiple stabbings on the 16th Street Mall on Saturday night. One of the people attacked had her throat slit and died. She was a flight attendant shopping on a layover. @JulieChangRE I sought the same and we ended up in the Ken Caryl Valley about 20 miles outside downtown Denver! Moved here a few months ago and couldn't love it more.

Stuck in West Denver Metro under almost 20" of snow. Nanny couldn't make it, no school tomorrow. Kids stuck. Wife and I work remote full-time. No such thing as a snow day as a remote worker. Not sure it could get more fun than this.

@SFR_Investor I wouldn't exit Denver assets as it has a 100,000 sfr/apt unit shortfall relative to demand (not as much in the city as surrounding areas). Living and currently buying primary residence in the suburbs, we're still seeing bidding wars.

@realEstateTrent I'll add one more thing to this (as someone in their 40's). It's likely never too late to delay gratification.

The best advice I can give a young person in the real estate business: Delayed gratification is an immense superpower. Most of your peers won't see it. You'll win because you do.
