We are in mediation today. Each balloon represents a colleague who has left us including a silver balloon for Kirk who left after 51 years and empty chair for Lori who died. The green balloons are for the people who came and left during 3 1/2 years of bargaining. The purple for all of the longtime people who left before a contract!

We welcome efforts to bolster local news in cities like Waco, and we hope to welcome future eligible staff contributing to these efforts to our guild. We will continue working for a contract with raises, employee protections and benefits for any current and future guild members.

.@SAReportUnion has been negotiating for months now, and ALL our members are welcome to join at the table. The contract will impact everyone after all, so it is only fair they get to see how it is negotiated and what management is saying. @TexasTribune should follow suit.
