Sunday afternoons are for grocery shopping at the commissary….! So thankful to the Defense Commissary Agency for taking care of the military families and veterans in Hampton Roads and around the world (and I save an average of $2-$3 off my favorite Tillamook chocolate peanut butter ice cream when I buy it on base!) As we continue to work to lower everyday costs, protecting these types of benefits for our military families continues to be a priority of mine in Congress.🇺🇸

Dulles & BWI Marshall have 22 each.
Today new FAA restrictions began, but this morning DCA had similar numbers to BWI/IAD - we're looking into it.

Open enrollment for ACA health plans starts on Nov. 1; insurers have to publish premiums in advance of that date. A 1-year extension of ACA tax credits would set up notices of huge cost increases to hit ~20+ million mailboxes days before the 2026 midterm. Seems under-discussed!
