Surprised when I listened to a YouTube video from a popular crypto channel and someone literally said that Ethereum was not the first smart contract platform. Maybe they are assuming that Bitcoin had the technology for smart contracts, which I do not believe is accurate. In my experience with smart contract development, Ethereum has been recognized as the world's first major smart contract platform, launched in 2015. It was introduced as programmable, decentralized applications (dApps) to blockchain technology using its Solidity programming language and the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). This is something I have noticed in the AI space. The speed at which people are creating often leads them to forget operational efficiency. AI cannot replace the deep understanding of business processes, which are being simply re-engineered by using agents a bit more. Most companies move fast first, then realize they might have moved too quickly. Block is not immune to this.
