Our ecosystem isn’t growing as it should because we wake up everyday with the delusion that we have to compete with ourselves.

I know it’s cool to seem like a superhero that comes through in a short period, but it’s more important that whoever you’re working for respects and values your work. It’s always hard to value things that feel like they didn’t take time to create.

When designers speak about timelines saying “we did this in just 2 days”, “we had only two weeks to come up with this”. You’re telling the client that your work is not valuable & that anyone requesting for extra time is just being lazy. You’re hurting the entire industry.

I truly want to do this — a small, intentional circle focused on illustration and brand design. I know how easily people can trivialize free things… but that won’t stop me. I already have my eyes on a few designers and illustrators here. I genuinely love sharing knowledge. By God’s grace, we’ll begin with 12 disciples. 😄 The number is small on purpose because this won’t be head-to-head sessions; it will be heart-to-heart.
