I LOVE college basketball, but it's hilarious when these things get confused for great defense and people act like they play so much more defense than the NBA. It's just worse offense lol.

Maybe it’s the sport of basketball but there really is a lack of juice in these championship celebrations. Just won the National Title and they’re just high fiving each other like it’s a regular season game in January. Same goes for the NBA Finals.

@thefantasybuff @JackDunkins01 It’s because it was two small market teams who didn’t have any of the legacy superstars familiar to the general sports audience. OKC and Indiana are not the ratings draw that even Denver and Boston would be. A lot of people watch Fast and Furious movies too.

@JackDunkins01 College basketball is for the most part, low-level basketball. Stagnant offense with bad scorers, bad defense, slow pace, bricked shots, airballs, etc. The tribalism and tournament mask a lot of that.

When UF went to the Elite Eight in 2013 they beat a 14, 11, and 15 to get there. In 2012 they beat a 10 and 15 to get to the Sweet 16. 2006 a 14 and 11 plus another 11 in the Final Four. 1999 and 1994 a 14 and 11 the first two rounds. Carry on.
