I worked in at least three to four places before I gained admission, worked during Covid and ASUU strike, I did IT in part 3, so now I have working experience even before graduation. I was able to get a job after convocation thanks to these experiences.

Remembered this time I was ppa hunting. This so called company interviewed me virtually three different times, yet I still didn't get accepted. They kept asking if I had any experience, I had to explain that I was a fresh graduate, so no, I didn't have any work experience. I even asked if my IT experience could count, and they told me it wasn't enough. Genuine question.…. where exactly was I supposed to get years of experience from when I had just graduated from school ?

Well… my introverted, indoor friend ended up marrying her flatmate. When she first moved in, they weren’t even that close. Over time, they became really good friends.
Then one day she called me and said, “Ife, I think I’m starting to like this guy.”
Me, that had already admired the guy’s personality from afar, immediately told her to stylishly shoot her shot.
On her birthday, he took her out and she asked him to be her boyfriend.
They got married in February last year and got divorced early this year. 🤷🏽♀️
I wasn’t expecting that ending either, but life does write its own scripts. 😔
