Explain how that works. If I were a Texan - given Texas’ special admission to the union - I’d want it also. Meanwhile a non-vote for an R gives a vote to the Momdani, AOC, Newsom, Obama, lunatic wing of the D party, and all that they want. Rs are feckless. Yes. Ds are suicide

Some of y’all out there need to start understanding where the Texas flag really came from. If you’re a real Texan you would know what the Blue area with the single white star really is and where it came from. It is the Bonnie Blue flag. Not a Texan if you don’t know the history.

Indeed, and it's beautiful. The Bonnie Blue was later used as an unofficial flag during the early months of 1861 for the fledgling Confederacy. And the Texas flag was used in a similar form for the 1st Texas Infantry; other Texas regiments had stars on their flags, but always one larger than the others, signifying, of course, the Lone Star.

@saarlandgi91931 No that’s not true but you can believe what you like. The De Zavala flag was the first “OFFICIAL” flag of the Republic of Texas in 1836. Neither the De Zavala or the Burnett flag existed prior to the Bonnie Blue flag.
