ஐஐடி சென்னையில் நடைபெற்ற தக்ஷிண்பத் உச்சி மாநாடு 2025 தொடக்க விழாவில் ஆளுநர் ரவி அவர்கள், பிரிட்டிஷ் காலனித்துவ ஆட்சி நமது யதார்த்தத்தை எவ்வாறு உத்திரீதியாக தகர்த்தது என்பதை எடுத்துரைத்தார். அதாவது, காலனித்துவ மேலாதிக்கத்தை ஊடுருவச் செய்து, நமது உண்மையான சுயத்திலிருந்து நம்மை சிதைத்து, பிளவுபடுத்தி, துண்டித்து, பல நூற்றாண்டுகளாக நம்மை ஆட்சி செய்ததை விவரித்தார். சுதந்திரத்துக்குப் பிறகும், இந்த காலனித்துவ பார்வை நீடித்து, நமது ஒரே தேசம் என்ற முக்கிய உணர்வை மழுங்கடித்து, நமது தேசத்தை பலவீனப்படுத்தியது. இதன் விளைவாக, நமது அடிப்படை மதிப்புகள் குறைமதிப்பிற்கு உள்படுத்தப்பட்டன; ஒரு குடும்பமாக ஒன்றாக செழித்து வளர்ந்த நமது அற்புதமான பன்முகத்தன்மைகள் 'வேறுபாடுகள்' என தவறாக சித்தரிக்கப்பட்டன. பல நூற்றாண்டுகளாக பன்முகத்தன்மையால் செழித்து வளர்ந்த நமது சமூகத்தில் மோதல்களை விதைத்தன. கடந்த தசாப்தத்தில், பாரதத்தின் மகிமையை மீட்டெடுப்பதன் மூலம் பாரதத்தை ஒரே தேசமாக புதுப்பிக்கப்பட்ட உணர்வுடன், ஒவ்வோர் பாரதியரின் உண்மையான திறனை கட்டவிழ்த்து, அனைவருக்கும் சம வாய்ப்பை உறுதி செய்வதன் மூலம், தேசம் ஒரு சகாப்த மாற்றத்திற்கு உள்பட்டுள்ளது என்பதை ஆளுநர் எடுத்துரைத்தார். இந்த மாற்றம் உலக அரங்கில் இந்தியாவின் குறிப்பிடத்தக்க முன்னேற்றத்தைத் தூண்டுகிறது. பாரதத்தின் எழுச்சியால் அமைதியற்ற எதிரிகள், நமது அரசியலமைப்பு பதவி வகிப்போர் மீதான நம்பிக்கையை சிதைக்க பொய்களையும் தவறான தகவல்களையும் பரப்பி, அராஜகத்தைத் தூண்டிவிடுகிறார்கள் என ஆளுநர் மேலும் குறிப்பிட்டார். பாரதத்தைப் பாதுகாக்கவும், #வளர்ச்சியடைந்தபாரதம் என்ற அதன் தெய்வீக இலக்கை உணரவும், ஒவ்வொரு பாரதியரும் ஒரே தேசம் என்ற உணர்வை ஆழப்படுத்த வேண்டும் மற்றும் எல்லையை உணரும் என்ற தெளிவான பார்வையை கூர்மைப்படுத்த வேண்டும் - அது நமது தேசத்தை அச்சுறுத்துபவர்களை அடையாளம் காணவும், உறுதியாக ஒற்றுமையாக நிற்கவும், தீர்க்கமாக தோற்கடிக்கவும் உதவும் என ஆளுநர் கூறினார். @iitmadras

Pleased to address young and innovative minds from across the country at the ‘DakshinaPatha Summit 2025’ being hosted at @iitmadras. Spoke about the future-focused facets of NEP 2020 and how it is a pathway to Viksit Bharat. NEP 2020 is ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ in action. We must implement it to realise the goal of Viksit Bharat as well as for ensuring global welfare. Confident that the ‘DakshinaPatha Summit 2025’ will pave the way for evolving new thought leadership for addressing India’s challenges and also ensure that our youth emerge as catalysts of global well-being. We must seize the opportunities lying ahead of us and assume greater responsibilities towards fulfilling educational targets and national priorities. Leading think-tanks of the country, like #ThinkIndia must take on challenge to create new models and instruments for creating a global impact and also fulfilling India’s global responsibility.

At the inaugural of Dakshinpatha Summit 2025 at @iitmadras, Governor Ravi highlighted how British colonial rule strategically subverted our reality—infusing colonial supremacy that distorted, divided and disconnected us from our true selves, ruling over us for centuries. Even after Independence, this colonial lens persisted, depleting our Rashtrabodh—the vital national consciousness—and weakening our nation. As a result, our foundational values were undermined; our incredible diversities, thriving together as a family, were misrepresented as differences, sowing conflicts in our society that flourished for centuries on plurality. Governor highlighted how, in the last decade, by reclaiming and restoring the glory of Bharat, the nation has undergone an epochal transformation with a renewed sense of Bharat as a Rastra, unleashing the true potential of every Bharatiya and ensuring equal opportunity for all. This transformation is propelling India’s remarkable ascent on the global stage. He further mentioned how adversaries unsettled by Bharat’s rise are spreading lies and disinformation to erode trust in our constitutional institutions, aiming to ignite anarchy. To defend Bharat and realize its divine destiny as #ViksitBharat, every Bharatiya must deepen the sense of Rashtrabodh and sharpen Shatrubodh—the clear vision to identify, stand firmly united against, and decisively defeat those who threaten our nation.
