I am starting a new eCommerce management project that has started off with the actual website not being accessible. The goal now is to go from slide 1 to slide 2 as fast as possible and then refresh my blog article on why online shops fail. Week 1 begins now.

Please the actual bridge is less than 500m, the rest of the project is widening and resurfacing of Opebi Road that has existed for over 40 years. The only new stuff is the bridge.

Imagine the governor of these states spending half their entire budget on a single project, yet the project remains uncompleted after 51 months. And, by the way, 51 months is longer than a full governorship tenure (48 months).

I think the biggest challenge in managing ads is changing strategies without digging deep into data. We run ads in March and change strategy in April because we want "better results" instead of doubling down on what worked in March while making incremental changes in April.

I'm trying to up revenue for a brand, but most inquiries are for 20k items. To owner - create more appealing 20k products. To ads mgr - keep current ad to 30%. Use 50% of budget to find people with more money to spend. If people want it and we can run it stress free, we do it.

Someone asked on the TL which is easier to sell, products or services. I responded: whatever people need. Your job aa a business owner is to create something people really need (or strongly want), find enough of the people who need it, connect with them, and serve them right where they are, in the way, time, and format that fits naturally into their lives. A product or service is just the vehicle. Demand is the real driver. Do people need it?

I find it frustrating when people claim they’ve sent me a message on WhatsApp, even though they know I don’t check it. Anyone who has my number is aware of this. I clearly say call me when I give it to you. It’s now starting to feel intentional, like information is being passed through a channel I’ve clearly said I don’t use, instead of simply calling me or sending an email. If it truly matters, you’ll reach me in a way I actually respond to. Honestly, I’m at the point where deleting WhatsApp altogether feels like the clearest solution, because anything genuinely important should come through a call or email.
