not allowing posed 3d models is one of the stupidest rules i have ever seen, especially when it’s SUCH a common practice amongst artists??? are the people running art fight also the people that think you’re a fake artist if you use 3d models or

I think every artist should experience working 9-5 at some point in their lives so they can fully appreciate how much of a privilege it is to make a living from drawing all day, some people fumble the bag really hard man

Some of yall are actually not that great at art what do you mean you cant draw without tracing. What do you mean you think all professional artists trace poses for illustrations.

Neonbeat was one of the only peeps at twitch I allowed myself to subscribe to support his works. I admired him too much and aspired my art to be like his one day. To see someone I supported with everything I had at the moment turn in to this it's just pathetic to see. It boils my blood to see such talent go to waste by scamming hundreds of hardworking people. Does this dude know how grateful he should have been being in the place to be able to charge over 800+ usd per art piece? Having the opportunity to work with such large creators that trusted him enough for having his art in their precious projects? Building a good enough reputation on the internet to become such an inspiration to a lot of aspiring artists? And it's not only Neon, I hate to see talented artists charging thousands of dollars to then not deliver ANYTHING to their clients for months and months, sometimes even years??? These artists have the opportunity to make a living off of their drawings and then suddenly they just decide to be irresponsible with it while also some of them using AI to assist their works. (Ms_tsuu's case) I'm just so angry at this situation. So sorry for the rant, I hope every client out there gets their oc's treated like kings by every artist they commission out there. I just can't imagine the frustration paying so much for a piece by an artist you liked so much only for your art piece never being completed or started in the first place.

and... it happened again. i'm embarrassed to post this. i usually manage to resolve these things privately but the artist ghosted me after saying "they have never seen my design before". 3 people reached out to me saying somebody copied my design, it's not the first time this happened and i am usually super chill if we share some elements - white haired kitsune girls in kimonos are SO common. this is not the most disrespectful case i've seen but it definitely makes me uncomfortable. just because you SIMPLIFIED or added elements doesn't mean you're not copying elements from me and lying to my face about it. imagine the DAMAGE you're doing not only to my community, but the person who may purchase this not knowing they are stealing somebody's whole branding...

The hate AI creators have been getting is unreal. Great artists get excited about new tools. Mediocre artists are threatened by them.
