By posting on Craigslist around the world for teachers interested in translation & science, we found dedicated people who would help us bring our software to their language (in exchange we supplied their classrooms with the apps). Most apps are in 60+ languages.

@HeyRmj Hi. Unfortunately the system we used for the Explorer's Pass (a key app that unlocks the other apps) is no longer allowed in the Android store. We're trying to figure out a solution, and will also soon be offering some standalone Android apps.

@tinybop my skyscrapers app is not working and I am unable to continue my explorers pass (I was refunded). Is this a problem. On my end? Or are those 2 things no longer available?

@IwataTiff @r_beckstead @rsms @themexican We are indeed planning on bringing Things That Go Bump back later this year, but it will be a stand alone @tinybop app rather than part of @AppleArcade. We enjoyed on run on Arcade and can’t wait to get back on the store.

What happened to the concept of Multimedia software like Encarta? It would be so interesting if that whole thing had worked out. Imagine hobby and educational books like MIT Press Essential Knowledge series in a Multimedia format, with videos, sounds and interactive models to play with as you read & learn about something.

@r_beckstead @rsms @themexican This is what we do (for younger kids). The reason you don’t see more companies making this kind of software is because it’s hard/expensive. App store policies make sustainable models in this space very hard. There are some though, BrainPop does a nice job for example.
