@PSchrags @Ihartitz I would say this video should be directed at the insiders who are tweeting out the picks 90 seconds before they happen. Obviously you want to be the first to break free agency news, trades, etc. But like you said, there’s no valor in getting the pick out early, so why do it?

@oliviacola @A_M_D_16 Well their household income is pretty close to a 50/50 split between them. So they split the household expenses and vacations etc. Neither one of them could support their combined lifestyle on their own, if that makes sense.

@oliviacola @A_M_D_16 On a dudes trip a few weeks ago, 10 guys, we had a good 10 minute discussion about this when one guy mentioned he and his wife keep all their finances separate and Venmo each other. We all thought that was very strange, but no worse than that, just odd

lol I do not have any logins to the husband guys bank accts. I have his bank card. And he has no access to mine. It’s been this way from the beginning & it’s just worked out & it’s not a big deal. He does prefer if I’m spending over $1500 from his acct, I just let him know. It just works for us. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@oliviacola Seriously, I live in SE Virginia and a week ago we had a 30° swing in one day (as well as a 30° temp difference 10 miles apart). Last week we had a 40° swing in one day. And tomorrow there’s a chance of 70-80 mph winds and tornadoes

@venmike1992 @Truedeyy @LndsPatterson Yes, simple. Last week the Lions and Ravens restructured Goff’s and Lamar’s contracts and freed up $32 million and $40 million in cap space, respectively. It is simple and it happens all the time.

So if the fans didn’t buy merchandise, jerseys & tickets the players wouldn’t get paid is what you’re saying❔
Chris@chrisdigiusto

@ochocinco Indirectly yes. If fans didn’t buy jerseys, tickets, concessions etc then teams wouldn’t have money to pay players.

@StevieJohnson13 Also the two Broncos receivers had the ball hit them in the hands, meanwhile Cooks’ ball was 3 yards in front of him and that had nothing to do with the defender

Y’all ever been in a pick-up 🏀 game: - Down to the wire. - Mate gets fouled and misses shot.. - He DOESN’T acknowledge the foul… Meanwhile, I’m tired asF and got to hustle back on defense like…. BRO! Cooks is just a Fair guy. 🤷🏾‍♂️🏈🃏

@EmmanuelAcho When part of the rules/judgement that needs to be made is “…maintains possession LONG ENOUGH…” slowing it down too much makes it look like he maintained possession longer than he did

I have the utmost respect for Gene as an official, but when you slow the play down to 1/100th the speed, it doesn’t distort what actually happened, it *REVEALS* what actually happened Slowing something down doesn’t change reality, it just allows us to better adjudicate it.
Gene Steratore@GeneSteratore

At some point when reviewing plays, the league should consider adding a speed threshold for anything involving the element of time. When you slow plays down to 1/100th the speed, it distorts what actually happened and makes it look like, in this case, Cooks possessed the ball for seconds prior to losing it. The game is not played in slow motion or frame by frame. For a catch: A) Secure control of the ball ✅ B) Two feet down in bounds ✅ C) After (a) and (b) have been fulfilled, clearly performs any act common to the game (e.g., extend the ball forward, take an additional step, tuck the ball away and turn upfield, or avoid or ward off an opponent), or he maintains control of the ball long enough to do so. C is where there is a judgement needed since A and B are clearly met. Now consider this note to the rule: If a player, who satisfied (a) and (b), but has not satisfied (c), contacts the ground and loses control of the ball, it is an incomplete pass if the ball hits the ground before he regains control, or if he regains control out of bounds. Because Cooks did lose control of the ball when he contacted the ground and the ball never contacted the ground, it was ruled an interception by Denver.

There is absolutely no difference between this play and the Buffalo play. Adams did not make any move. He caught it, secured it as he was tackled and then stripped on the ground. Same exact thing. Same exact. This is why fans hate the NFL refs. No consistency game to game

@mackenzielozano Imagine there was no defender there at all, and the ball just came out at that moment instead of being taken away by a defender, would that be a completed pass? No, it wouldn’t. 100% of the time that’s not a catch.

@tHaCrYpToNiNjA @danorlovsky7 It is obvious and very clear, everyone who is arguing that it’s not a pick is ignoring everything they’ve ever seen about football. JJ’s comment is very obviously correct.

@danorlovsky7 It’s literally never a catch, Dan. When going to the ground in the process of making the catch, he has to maintain possession throughout the process. If there was no defender there and the ball came out at that same moment, would it be a catch? No. 100% of the time, no.

@BizNasty2point0 @mackenzielozano I spotted the difference. In one, the ball hit the player in the hands, in the other, it was 3 yards in front of him and a yard out of bounds. That’s the difference between a 50/50 call, at best, because the defender had little to no impact on the play vs. blatant and obvious DPI
