big ten split against a six! ive been saving a collection of my escapades over the last two years and decided its time to start posting. i used to be paranoid about my voice being recognized but i dont play as much blackjack as i used to so ive stopped caring. i hope you enjoy 😀

@DaRealFlamingo3 i don’t do much speculation into individual cards although it does seem tempting. but you’re in luck if you’re just looking to collect packs since their margins are >30% on everything sold at MSRP besides the individual sleeves so you don’t have to do much research

@tru3AP I have a small sports card collection, all slabs but am thinking about collecting some Pokemon. Seems more daunting to get into than sports cards, there’s so many sets and promos and stuff

starting up my pokemon route again and came about half an hour before the store opened. the line here is a bit more than half the size that i saw on release day a couple weeks ago, on a regular restock day! this pokemon card hype is insane and it seems to only be growing 😳

@DaRealFlamingo3 nahh my plan is to buy and hold for as long as i can, im finding satisfaction from just collecting the packs themselves since they’re so hard to find at MSRP

@truepain15 it was a "trapped" scenario where even if i didnt split 10s for cover reasons, the dealer would've made a 20 either way

@tru3AP it ALMOST makes me happy to split 10s take the low cards because then I just think "yeah no way the dealer is gonna pull a low card when they have 16" then they do that XD

gotta show the good and the bad so here is another blackjack video where i lost $3k on a ten split against a 6. never a good feeling when you gotta break a band. you can also see the pit sweating the hand, getting ready to back me off 🤣

@whatyournamed most casinos are aware of advantage players (people smart enough to beat the game and flip the house edge to their side). once they are aware of an AP on their game, they will back them off telling them they don't want their business regardless of if they are winning or losing

@tru3AP I see what you mean about the guy watching the hand in the background. But what do you mean by getting read to back you off? What would they do over a $3k loss?

@dickens1298 @fblasvegas thanks for the suggestion, i've been in many high limit rooms at this point. if you can, just lookup the definition of jaded for me. i think it fits really well in this case

@tru3AP Next time you’re in Vegas, visit Talon, Mansions, or high limit rooms in Resorts or @fblasvegas. It’s not nothing, but certainly not worth a lot of attention from the floor.

@tru3AP Then they would have backed you off regardless of outcome. And you never indicated what spread you were using - just that they were intently watching you.

the concept of UHI is something i’ve been daydreaming about for a while now. in this type of society, i’d imagine a huge shift from moneymaking/hustling culture into one where art and creativity are more praised and prioritized. i’m all for it

i am so glad i have an appetite and can eat real food again

last night was rough, didn’t expect it to be that hard to fall asleep. really missing the adjustable hospital bed now, that was a game changer. even hurts to put on a seatbelt…just gotta walk it off, atleast every day should be better than the last one

welp they are discharging me today even though i havent fully transitioned to solids yet. atleast today is the first day i have an appetite and starting to experiment with eggs/rice. id like to stay another day to see how my body reacts but they think im too healthy at this point

@DaRealFlamingo3 this is definitely what is keeping me up tonight. feels like i have to walk a mile or two around the hospital just to get the gas to go away

@tru3AP Wish you the best in recovering. If you had laparoscopic surgery and feel like weird aches in your shoulders and stuff for a day or two, it can be due to gas they used during surgery putting pressure on some nerve that refers pain to your shoulders or something like that.

gallbladder is officially out! really hope that did something, will be figuring that out in due time. the surgical pain this time is pretty gnarly, atleast they’re loading me up on meds whenever i ask. just can’t make a habit out of it

the doctor just gave it to me straight up that my gallbladder surgery has a 50% chance of fixing my problems, or doing nothing. kinda funny how so much of my life is based off of coin flip events, maybe it’s time for some positive variance? 🙏
