@ulywill22 Kinda same, I used to think every cartoon was anime in childhood including non japenses cartoons like Ben 10, courage the cowardly dog, oggy, transformers.. etc and started knowing more about anime when db's tournament of power was airing

I used to watch dragonball growing up but I thought they were cartoons, it wasn't until 2015 when dragonball super started airing and from there I learned what anime was and started watching other animes
