Today, we are celebrating the 3rd anniversary of Halyna's arrival in the UK, marking a significant milestone in her journey. Halyna, who has just turned 70, was one of the very first individuals we helped relocate. When she arrived, she didn’t know any English and had never traveled abroad. For the first six months, she lived with a sponsor, adjusting to a completely new environment. Today, Halyna lives independently and can communicate confidently in English. She expresses her heartfelt gratitude, saying, “I am incredibly thankful to the English people, the Government, and especially to my host, who I now consider my younger sister.”
