#1yearofRetro 💙 The first Half of #Retro was filled with Elevative Artistry, Emotional Connect, Craftwise brilliance, One of the Career best performances of Suriya, Technical brilliance, Totally invested Engaging Screenplay and Perfect interval block.. More than anything the Politics of colonisation and the message at the end was so beautifully done!! Especially the Chapter - Love! It was a poetry on screens.. 1st 40 minutes and 20 minutes towards interval block nu this 1 hour was such a masterpiece work both in writing and direction!! That 15 minute Single shot Kanimaa Sequence was Pure Cinema!! I would definitely mention about this as one of the best sequences ever made in indian cinema..🔥 @kshreyaas ‘s cinematography, @Music_Santhosh ‘s absolutely mind blowing background score and songs, Make up, Costumes, Stunts னு Craftwise it was a stunner in every department! Though I didn’t like Loki- Vijay - Ani’s master on the whole, I’d still rate it as one of the best cinematic experience I had on theatres because of the performances of vijay, VjS and I loved so many moments all over the film from the Actor - Director - music director trio..
