@deligore123 To be fair to others I did give them a lot of agency in the past in the game's creation so I get their increased ownership feelings

@vg_pidge Hmm, if you haven't done so already, try to see if it help having the older game title in the video's tags (that way, it's more likely to show up if people are looking at your game content already or something along those lines.

Moving forward from this I'll definitely be changing how I approach gamedev. I need to pick a lane and prioritize my vision or prioritize the possibility of success and user engagement. Trying to do both just isn't possible for me 😂

I'm going to be vulnerable for a moment... Renaming my game has taught me something important. Your community regardless of what they say don't want your vision as a game they want their vision of your game. That small distinction was far more important than I realized.

@Creminson Yeah, that's totally fine. I understand it's not everyone's cup of tea, but the game is the same, so reviewing it poorly due to that is just silly...

@vg_pidge It's rude how he said it but he's got a point. A game changing it's name so far into development isn't great, and all the YouTube videos that had the title in it won't promote the game anymore since the name has changed. My personal opinion, i liked project Arrhythmia ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
