It's incredible how the ATLA fandom hates Aang. The damn movie has his name on it, but the script is bad because it focuses too much on him being the Avatar and not on the flop Zuko

mind you there were plans for an entire trilogy of atla films + who knows what else so this is really having me scared for those future plans bc if those get canned as a result..........Man.....

i'm thinking about watching it but maybe during the weekend like i won't watch the movie i've been waiting for for months on a random tuesday evening plus i have to study and work i have a LIFE

psa: katara and aang are both genocide survivors. framing them starting a family as something “immoral” or as aang “using her to revive airbending” is a really weird and disgusting misread of both their characters
