Senadora, no se trata de un hecho aislado ni “muy triste”. El estudio IBEAS (2009) mostró que casi el 20% de las erogaciones hospitalarias en América Latina se vinculan a eventos adversos. ¿PUEDE SER QUE SEA LA ÚNICA SENADORA QUE SE DA CUENTA? Detrás de un hecho muy triste, la Ley Nicolás intenta meter una norma ambigua e intervencionista que solo va a traer más problemas a un sistema de salud que ya está malherido. Voté en contra porque creo que tenemos que ordenar el sistema, definir quién se hace cargo de qué y cómo se financia. Hoy la mitad de la Argentina no tiene cloacas, ni agua potable, y en muchas escuelas falta hasta jabón. ¡No podemos seguir sumando parches sin resolver lo de fondo! Este proyecto: 1- Podría traer miedo a la persecución de los profesionales de la salud. 2- Más burocracia y costos administrativos. No se si traerá como resultado mejor salud. 3-Tiene conceptos ambiguos como “culpa temeraria inequívoca” que dejan lugar a interpretaciones subjetivas. 4- Puede predisponer a los profesionales a ejercer una Medicina defensiva, donde se prioriza cubrirse antes que atender. 5- La desigualdad entre provincias dado que la Salud es competencia de las provincias y en cada una se rigen reglas que no se aplican igual en todos lados haria muy dificil la implementación.

There's a big difference between "speaking up" & "calling out". This is so relevant in the context of building psychological safety & addressing issues & concerns within teams. ‘Speak up’ cultures enable people to get under the surface of issues; to feel & be heard. ‘Call out’ cultures shut down open & honest communication, breeding fear & discontent. When things go wrong, there's often a knee jerk reaction towards fault finding. High levels of ‘social capital’ (the value gained when people work well together) create the conditions for high performance in health & care. The evaluation of 5 NHS organisations that undertook whole system transformation showed that social capital is more important than human capital (the skills, knowledge & experience people possess) when it comes to improving performance. Now, research newly published in @HarvardBiz concludes that social capital is at least, or more important, than human capital OR financial capital for high performance in healthcare organisations. If we want to improve performance & productivity, we need to get serious about: - understanding social capital (relational co-ordination & social network analysis) - providing the time, space, focus & leadership support for relationships & connections - building it into our improvement routines & nurturing & measuring its growth as a key component of our performance strategy. hbr.org/2024/08/the-st….
