What is really going on in South Africa? We’ve seen repeated attacks on different communities whites, Lebanese, Asians, and now even fellow black Africans. It’s deeply troubling to watch violence being turned on both outsiders. Frustration over economic hardship and governance is understandable, but it should never be taken out on innocent people, especially immigrants who are simply trying to survive and contribute. The real issues, unemployment, inequality, and leadership challenges, need real solutions, not scapegoats. Violence only deepens the problem instead of solving it. This n@nsense must stop. @elonmusk

Speaking in Hausa mixed with Nigerian Pidgin, the suspect says they are working for a senior military figure in Abuja, whom he calls “Manga Manga” and “Baban soja” (meaning “big soldier”). He claims, “My oga dey work for that big soldier for Abuja,” insisting that the operation is linked to that high-ranking figure.
