@August_Support August's policy requires the previous owner to intervene. If that person is unreachable (which is obviously the case, here), then this lock of which I'm the rightful owner is completely useless. I was told I could spend ~$140 more, for a new module. Why would I do that? 😂

@August_Support Just did this. Even spoke to a supervisor! No luck.

Buyer beware! If you buy/acquire an @AugustHomeInc smart lock, and the previous owner doesn't *explicitly* take steps to allow you to reset it when you get it, you'll be the proud owner of a $200 paperweight. Zero recourse from @August_Support.

I learned today my Pixel phone really is water resistant. I unknowingly dropped in a lake yesterday and didn't find it until today. Still works. Pretty amazing.
