@talleyberrybaby every couple months i get a pork shoulder cut and slow cook it (dutch oven) til it shreds apart. minimal seasoning so it’s versatile later. once cooled bag and freeze individual portions. super easy to thaw and throw on rice, in ramen, put it in a quick taco or grilled cheese

You should always have meat in your freezer. Not just loose bullshit, stuff you KNOW you can make an enjoyable meal out of. If you gotta start every meal by buying every single ingredient every time, you’ll hate cooking. Also make you a big pot of chili or spaghetti sauce or whatever it is you like to eat and freeze it into individual portions. You just thaw it out when you’re hungry and that’ll keep you from door dashing all the fuckin time.
