@Blushing_Alex @Hadryan505 @jothwip obviously, people listen to music for either/or, but i think that a song’s sound holds a much greater weight in this regard, it’s why genres are constructed, not by themes explored, but by instrumentation, rhythm, etc. the sound is more relevant, didn’t think it needed saying

@Blushing_Alex @Hadryan505 @jothwip i think, for the most part, yeah, that’s true, it’s at least partially why people enjoy listening to foreign music, why you get songs like “Hey Ya!” or “Pumped Up Kicks” where there’s a discrepancy in lyrical content and its public perception, don’t act like that’s not the case

People are acting like it's unreasonable to ask the millionaire game dev Toby Fox to spend some of that fangamer money to fund more localisations of his game because he doesnt speak those languages. I guess the devs of OneShot and Disco Elysium are polyglots?
