A losing streak like this would’ve been torturous for the 2008–11 Phillies. Rollins, Utley, and Howard would’ve been physically sick. You don’t get the sense that it’s eating at this group in the same way. Nothing but empty “Keep grinding, we’re close” BS after every loss.

At this point I'm actively rooting for the Phillies to lose. I'm sick of these stupid fucking losers, and I'm sick of watching Rob Thomson and Dave Dombrowski burn what was a legitimate powerhouse to the ground.

If the Phillies get swept by the Braves, I don’t see how the team can return to Philadelphia with Rob Thomson in charge. Great guy, but someone needs to be held responsible for this embarrassing run.
