The first car I ever bought was a Fiesta (1st car I owned was given). I loved checking the oil every week and replacing the alloys with what I was told was XR2 alloys! 1.1LX!!!! Also my first car with a stealth shelf! (Didn't stop it getting broken into twice!) RIP Fiesta!

@CruisingTheCut In my after retirement job with a Honda dealer, I had lots of occasions to drive hybrids. Great cars, but every time I stopped at a light, I thought the engine quit on me. Just the electric motor cutting in. I think Honda is still making them. Enjoy!

Have bought a "mild hybrid" car and am quite surprised to see how much motoring can be done on pure electric even on a mostly motorway journey. Am liking that mpg figure 😀
