Here’s how I got my first ever template sale. Not for $29, not $79, not even $129… I sold it for $279! (Proof in the comments)
The idea is simple: offer a customization plan, something barely any Framer templates provide.
A lot of buyers don’t have the time or skills to customize templates themselves, so offering customization as the original designer becomes a huge value add.
Also, adding an “Ask a Question” button before purchase can help convert more buyers.
@Solodesign30 Yeah that works but if someone is hesitant to buy it because they think they can't edit it then it's good to know there is a plan before buying .
@work_ayushUX The checkout page is ab additional page within the website, makes sense.
My idea was a bit different, like a CTA that's within the workspace.
@BhumiKatariya07 In the checkout page itself i have specified what all i will do basically i will not add or redesign anything i will change the text , logo and colors mainly
@work_ayushUX I really like the idea of offering customization, but I’d love to know what kind of guidelines you set to keep the process manageable in terms of revisions, edits, and overall scope.
How did you start your design journey?
I’ll go first:
→ I began with frontend development
→ Spent more time tweaking UI than writing logic
→ Slowly realized I enjoyed designing screens more than coding them
→ Started learning UI/UX through YouTube
→ Now designing feels way more natural to me ✨
I’ve been seeing a lot of these lately… We offer 420+ Webflow, Framer, and Figma files with a single access plan. Maybe it’s time to raise the price? Or not? 🫠
