the sound design for hikaru is such a good translation from the manga having an emphasis on onomatopoeias. theres so much room to do weird crazy visuals with 3D animation and I with they'd capitalize on it more. i see it theyre so close to doing it but aAAUAGHH

dorohedoro's anime is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo close to being good to me but its missing a little pizzaz. a little artistic liberty. I love an anime that takes its source material and runs with it. d*n d*n d*n and the summer that hikaru died are fantastic examples of this
