@BobbySkinner_ I wanted the pick. But to say we got no benefit of losing disregards the fact that the Giants achieved their top priority: finding out they have a franchise QB. The season sucked. Would’ve been huge to get the pick. But winning is coming. There’s talent here

Think I'm more frustrated today because the Giants just went through another miserable season & it feels like we get none of the benefit of it. Only glass half full thought is they have the chance to have HC & QB combo which leads to consistent playoff appearances.

Giants somehow ended up with the better outcome. Got Carter and Dart without giving up crazy draft capital it would’ve taken to move up for Maye. Maye is awesome. Dart seems like he’s going to be every bit as good.

The #Giants wanted to move hell & high water to get Drake Maye. The only reason they couldn't was because the Patriots weren't trading out of No. 3. The Cardinals almost assuredly would have dropped back, still gotten their guy (or Malik Nabers). Giants were NOT losing a bidding war for Maye.
