Gentle parenting works but it takes more effort. You have to explain better, you didn’t tell him why he should stop chewing your cord. The consequences- what he gets if he doesn’t listen and what he gets if he listens. Also, you need to be able to practice “show and tell” if you want to practice gentle parenting.
